On The Go PM | Louis Vuitton

When I was younger, I don’t remember wanting a luxury bag more than a Louis Vuitton bag. I was in my teens on my first school field trip to New York City and I finally got my chance! I remember a small group of us went on a special “shopping” excursion to Canal street where I spent money I know my parents gave me specifically for food to buy my very first “Louis Faux-ton” bag! It was a backpack, and I wore it as many places as I could for as long as I could!

I grew up a lot since then, even to the point where I put less and less stock into luxury branded items, but I have to say, today I really made my younger self proud! I bought my very first real Louis Vuitton bag from the actual store as a birthday present to myself! This was such a special moment for me, walking in that store to buy a bag that really inspired me!

This bag the ‘On The Go PM’ bag is a modern version of the Sac Plat bag that was made popular in the late 1960’s. In my opinion, the PM is the perfect size bag for everyday use, someone who is on the go, if you will, no pun intended! The bicolor monogram pattern is really stunning, and it all comes together perfectly with the red suede interior which makes the bag pop! The bag comes with an adjustable removable strap so the bag can be worn as a cross body, on the shoulder, or by it’s top handles. The strap is 18.9 inch drop. I think the bag is perfect!
