The Thompson Hollywood Hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve experienced in Los Angeles! They promise a "luxurious new lifestyle hotel that brings a global sensibility, elevated service, and laidback California cool to the heart of Hollywood," and it delivers on all fronts!

What I Loved:

• Vibe & Service: The perfect blend of luxury and laidback California cool, with exceptional service. We truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere.

• Room: We stayed in a King room with a city view, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Mama’s Shelter and The Dream/Highlight Room. The modern, comfortable room felt like a suite, and the housekeeping was impeccable.

• Rooftop: The rooftop is split into two sections—The Terrace with a pool, bar, and restaurant on the left, and the trendy nightlife spot Bar Lis on the right. We had an amazing night at Bar Lis, enjoying great drinks, eclectic music, and views of the Hollywood sign.

• Dining: Ka’teen, another hotel restaurant, is a must-visit. It feels like a tropical escape with beautiful decor and amazing food, perfect for a night out or just drinks.

Amenities:

• 24-hour valet and concierge

• Fitness center

• Self-serve coffee, tea, and water in the lobby bar each morning

• Central location near tourist attractions, so you won’t need to navigate LA’s notorious traffic much

Overall, the Thompson Hollywood is an excellent choice for your stay in LA!
