Gooey Vanilla Cinnamon Rolls

My husband LOVES cinnamon rolls, but I don’t love cooking. Ha! So I have been trying different recipes that are easy enough for me to make, and good enough for my husband to believe that I worked hard to make them. I love making my own cinnamon rolls because I can use fresh and organic ingredients which makes me feel better about eating them. I used a blend of two recipes, one from a friend and this amazing recipe from Ambitious Kitchen to make the easiest and tastiest cinnamon roll recipe I could find!

Gooey Vanilla Cinnamon Rolls

 
  • ¾ cup warm milk (whole milk or 2% preferred)

    2 ½ teaspoons quick rise or active yeast

    ½ cup granulated sugar

    2 eggs at room temperature

    1 stick of butter, melted

    4 cups flour, plus more for dusting

    a pinch of salt

  • 1 cup dark brown sugar

    1 ½ tablespoons ground cinnamon

    1 stick butter, softened

    ½ tsp of Vanilla

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

    ¼ cup heavy cream

    3 tablespoons butter, softened

    ¾ cup powdered sugar

    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
